A FOREST school nursery has been told to make improvements after Ofsted inspectors found children were not being challenged enough.

The Little Achievers Forest Nursery School, based at Ramsgreave Hall Farm, was rated 'requires improvement' in every area three years after being rated 'good'.

The nursery school has 45 children on its roll.

Inspector Jennifer Kennaugh said: "Staff do not use what they know about children's learning to consistently plan and provide levels of challenge that are well matched to their interests and promote their good progress.

"Managers do not coach staff with enough rigour, including to help them form positive partnerships with parents that promote continuity for children's learning and welfare."
