POLICE have released a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to after with a purse theft in Darwen.
The incident took place at 4pm on Friday, April 28 when a 71-year-old woman, was approached by a woman with a stray dog outside the Post Office on Blackburn Road.
The victim offered to take the woman and the dog to the vets in her car.
When the victim arrived home afterwards she realised that her purse had been taken from her handbag.

A police spokesman said: "We are keen to trace the woman pictured in connection with the incident and if anyone knows her or has any information that could assist with our enquiries we would urge them to contact us."
