Two arrested after police car chase
TWO men have been arrested after a police car chase around Blackburn.
The incident occurred in the early hours of this morning and involved a 15 minute pursuit of a Citroen Picasso.
Two men, aged 24 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of the theft of the car.
The chase started in Grane Road, Haslingden and continued onto the M65 westbound.
The vehicle was eventually stopped in Roman Road using a stinger device and the two occupants were arrested.
A police spokesman said: "It was a fantastic team effort to get the right patrols in the right places."
