A BLAZE that destroyed a shed on an allotment is believed to have been started deliberately.
Two fire crews tackled the fire which happened to the rear of Beamish Avenue in Blackburn just after 8pm on Wednesday night.

A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “We sent two fire engines. When we got there the shed was well alight.
“We used two jets and were there for two hours.
“It is being treated as suspicious. The shed owner had not been there since the afternoon and there were no ignition sources in the shed.
“Nobody was injured.”
