FIREFIGHTERS are investigating the cause of a fire at a house in Blackburn this morning.
Three fire engines were sent to the scene of the blaze which started in a ground floor kitchen in Leamington Road at around 9.45am.

There were no reports of injuries.
A Lancashire Fire and Rescue spokesman said: “Three fire engines from Hyndburn, Blackburn and Darwen were sent after a fire started in a kitchen in a ground floor property.
“They used two sets of breathing apparatus, a hose reel and ventilation equipment to bring the fire under control.
“There were there for around one hour and 15 minutes.
“Investigations are on-going.”
