AN ARSON investigation has been launched following a fire at a house in Blackburn.
Two fire engines from Blackburn Station were called to the 'deliberate' fire at a derelict building in Shorrock Lane at 11pm last night.
Two firefighters went in to the building wearing breathing apparatus and discovered a pile of rubbish had been set alight inside. They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

Noone was injured in the incident and no major damage was caused to the building.
A fire service spokesman said the incident is being treated as arson and police have been informed.
Firefighters were at the scene for around 40 minutes.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
