IS summer finally here, again?

Sunny skies have returned to Blackburn and Burnley this morning and it looks as if they will stay until Wednesday, according to the Met Office.

Reports suggest there may be some patchy cloud inland but generally there will be lengthy spells of sunshine, today, which will make it feel warm in the light wind.

The maximum temperature will be 23°C.

Then tonight, there will be a fine end to the day but may be a cool night with a minumum temperature of 9°C.

Tomorrow, another fine and dry day with abundant sunshine is expected, especially in the west where it'll feel very warm whilst some patchy cloud may affect the Pennines and the maximum temperature could be 26 °C.

There will be sunny spells on Wednesday and it will be dry before turning unsettled into Thursday and Friday.
