OFFICERS are hunting two men and two women who tried to tried to use a fake £50 note in Blackburn.
Police said the incident happened at a shop in the Mill Hill area of the town on Sunday.

PC Karl Noblett said: "A group of two males and two females have attempted to make a purchase using a counterfeit £50 note. On this occasion the note was checked and refused.
"We would like all shop owners/employees to remain vigilant and continue to check all bank notes. If you suspect a note to be fake please retain the note and contact the police on 101."
