AN appeal for information has been released after a man with links to Blackburn has gone missing from his home.
David Pickup, 66, was last seen at an address on Hornby Road in Blackpool at 10.20am on May 14. He told someone he was going to the bank but hasn’t been seen since.
PC 2610 Tom Howard from Blackpool Police said: “Despite living in Blackpool, we don’t think that Mr Pickup has a great local knowledge of the area and so we are concerned for his welfare.
“He has strong links to the east of the county, particularly Blackburn, so he could have headed to that area.”
Mr Pickup is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, medium build with short grey hair, and was last seen wearing a lilac checked shirt with a black t-shirt, dark jeans, leather sandals and a grey hooded top with white stripes on the sleeves.
