A 33-YEAR-OLD woman stole from a 61-year-old man she had befriended.
Blackburn magistrates heard Alison McBlain had previously asked for and been given money by the man.
And Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said the defendant's record showed a history of similar offences involving vulnerable victims.

McBain, of East Park Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to stealing a wallet, cash, bank cards a mobile phone and a sat nav belonging to James Holden. She was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Miss Allan said McBlain and the man had developed some kind of friendship but she kept asking him for money. On the day of the theft she turned up at his house and he let her in.
"At some stage he fell asleep and when he woke up the items were missing," said Miss Allan.
