A BLACKBURN children’s home has been criticised and told to improve after a recent inspection.

In an Ofsted report following the visit the home, which is not identified to the public for safeguarding reasons, the home was officially rated as ‘requires improvement’.

The inspection took place on Friday, June 26, and was led by Ceri Evans.

In the report she said: “The home has experienced a period of instability and crisis over recent months.

“This has been caused by a number of factors which have resulted in some serious incidents.

“Young people experience variable outcomes.”
