Firefighters from Blackburn released them before they were treated by paramedics and taken to Royal Preston Hospital.
A spokeswoman for Lancashire Police said the pair were travelling in separate cars, and are believed to have suffered minor injuries.
However, none of the three services were able to confirm the duo's ages.
An investigation was launched following the smash, which left the road blocked while emergency workers dealt with the incident.
