A BEAUTIFUL selection of arts and crafts are coming to the streets to celebrate Blackburn's newly developed artisan quarter.
The Town Hall Street Fair offers unusual artwork, hand made gifts and homewares, painting, ceramics, sculpture and other crafts pieces.
Artists, designers and crafts-makers will showcase their work on stalls in the pedestrianised area which was historically known as Thunder Alley. And there will be street entertainment and activities for children.
The monthly fair is the brainchild of the Blackburn Business Improvement District (BID) and event organisers Hopeful and Glorious, and is set to offer a festival feel for shoppers.
Blackburn BID manager Harriet Roberts said: "This is a great way to introduce people to parts of the town that they might not have visited recently to see the changes."
The fairs will take place on the three Saturdays over the summer, July 18, August 15 and September 12.
