THE region’s top teachers and students were honoured at the Lancashire Telegraph’s annual School Awards last night - but 6-year-old Alisha Cowell stole the show.
After politely asking if she could read her speech to the audience, the Shadsworth Infant School pupil pulled on everyone's heartstrings with her cute message.
Alisha was named 'Primary School Pupil of the Year' at the Stanley House event.
