Firefighters freed the girl, who wasn’t injured
A FIVE-year-old girl got her leg trapped between the bannister on the stairs and the wall in her home in Shakeshaft Avenue, Blackburn.
It happened at 7.30pm on Sunday, and fire crews from Blackburn station were called in after the girl’s mum had been unable to free her daughter.
