BLACKBURN Arts Club have announced their 2015-2016 schedule.

The club present four productions each season from September-October to April-May at their theatre on Gibraltar Street.

The club was formed in 1946, celebrated their Diamond Jubilee in 2006 and in 2010 they celebrated 50 years at Gibraltar Street.

Shakers by John Godber, produced by Lisa-Marie Hunt, will run from September 22-26.

See if I care by Cherry Vooght and Slim Chance by Peter Gordon, both produced by Therese Ball, will be performed from November 17-21.

Season’s Greetings. by Alan Ayckbourn, produced by Geoff Baron, is earmarked for March 8-12 2016 and the classic Hobson’s Choice by Harold Brighouse, produced by Brian J Lawson, for May 17-21, 2016.

Casting readings for these productions will be taking place on the following dates: Shakers – June 16; See if I care/Slim Chance – June 2; Season’s Greetings – June 4; and Hobson’s Choice – June 9.

All readings are at the Club Theatre, Gibraltar Street, Blackburn, BB2 6HF from 7.30pm each night.

The plays are subject to confirmation of performing rights from the rights holders.
