RETIRING Blackburn MP Jack Straw has announced his constituency surgeries for the first three months of next year.

They will take the former Labour cabinet minister up to the launch of the campaign for the General Election on May 7.

Mr Straw will hold surgeries on Friday, January 9, at Mill Hill Community Centre from 3-4pm and Little Harwood Community Centre from 4.,30-5.30pm.

On Friday, January 30, he will hold advice sessions at Ivy Street Community Centre from 3-4pm and Audley Community Centre from 4.30-5.30 pm.

The following day Mr Straw will be at Bangor Street Community Centre from 9-10am.

On Friday, February 6, he will hold surgeries at Mill Hill Community Centre from 3-4pm and Bank Top Neighbourhood Centre from 4.30-5,30pm.

Friday, February 20, sees him at Ivy Street Community Centre at 3pm and Audley Community Centre at 4.30pm.

The day after sees a session at Bangor Street Community Centre at 9am.

Surgeries on March 6 start at Mill Hill Community Centre from 3-4pm followed by Little Harwood Community Centre from 4.30-5.30pm.

March 20, sees Mr Straw at Ivy Street Community Centre from 3pm and Audley Community Centre from 4.30pm.

The final surgery for the MP will be situated at Bangor Street Community Centre from 9-10am.
