FORMER Blackburn Rover’s captain Garry Flitcroft is among several big names that have settled their phone hacking damages claims.
The 41-year-old Chorley FC manager, who took the reins at Victory Park in 2010, settled for £20,000.
Details of the settlements in a lawsuit brought against Mirror Group Newspaper was outlined in a document at the High Court in London.
The document also showed former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson, and former Doctor Who actor Christopher Eccleston settled for £30,000 each.
David and Victoria Beckham's former nanny Abbie Gibson also settled her case for £15,000.
The details emerged during the fifth case management conference relating to the MGN litigation.
At the start of yesterday's proceedings, David Sherborne, representing claimants in the action, told the judge there are currently 28 claims registered.
The register was closed temporarily in August, he said, but he added there were "many more actions" which have been, or are soon to be, issued.
Earlier this week Trinity Mirror disclosed that it has agreed to pay compensation to a string of celebrities over alleged phone hacking.
It said in July that it had set aside £4 million to deal with civil claims over phone hacking.
