DANIEL Thwaites Brewery, in Blackburn, has made the British Heart Foundation its charity of the year, and aims to raise as much money as possible for the ‘Mending Broken Hearts’ appeal.
Sam Walker, from Thwaites, said: “Knowing there could be a heart failure cure is amazing, and we want to play our part in the fight to fund this research for the BHF.
“We hope our involvement will inspire other companies”.
Barbara Dunn, BHF fundraising volunteer manager, said: “We hope people in Blackburn will support us by encouraging their workplace to do something for the appeal.”
