A COLLEGE is teaming up with some top companies and professionals as part of National Careers Week.
Students at Blackburn College will be taking part in a mix of presentations, workshops, drop-in sessions and CV clinics with key employers and professionals, all of which will be focused around the themes of employability and work-readiness.
Principal Ian Clinton said: “This is going to be a really exciting week for the students.
“We have some fantastic people coming in who will be using their experience and knowledge to give the best possible advice to our students.
“As a college everything we do is geared towards boosting students’ employability, from designing our courses with industry experts, and providing industry ‘kitemarks’ and ‘endorsements’ to providing industry taught workshops and regular employer events.”
