A PLAYGROUND pervert has been banned from going within 100 metres of a play park.

A court heard how drunken Peter Dysart, 58, made sexual remarks to a 14-year-old girl.

And he asked a 13-year-old girl if she wanted to have sex with him in the bushes.

Dysart, of Stansfeld Street, Blackburn, pleaded guilty before Blackburn magistrates to using threatening behaviour and assaulting a 15-year-old girl by grabbing her jeans and pulling her towards him.

He was made subject to community supervision for 12 months, a curfew between 4pm and 3am for four months and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £150 costs.

He was made subject to a criminal anti-social behaviour order (Crasbo) for three years which bans him from going within 100 metres of Griffin Park.

Catherine Allan, prosecuting, said Dysart had made improper suggestions to the 15-year-old and her 14-year-old friend and they had fled from Griffin Park in Blackburn. Later the 13-year-old and her 12-year-old friend, who had been playing on the swings, were propositioned by him.

“The two young girls were terrified and ran from the park and reported the incident to the grandma of one of them,” said Miss Allan.

“All the youngsters involved live close to the park and at the moment are afraid to go there to play in case they come into contact with him. That is why the prosecution applies for a Crasbo to keep him out of the area.”

Andrew Church-Taylor, defending, said his client had little recollection of the incidents, adding: “Given that earlier in the day he had been found face down in a drunken stupor that is hardly surprising.”
