TALES of the heart are being sought for a new publication aimed at raising money for charity and increasing awareness around heart health.
Everything from stories around heartache, first love or heartbreak are requested as well as people’s recollections of battling with heart conditions or even heart disease.
The best three will be chosen to feature in a new booklet called The Heart Monologues and turned into a stage production to be performed at Darwen Library Theatre and King George’s Hall, Blackburn.
The booklet, which will be sold to raise money for the British Heart Foundation and local heart failure charity Pumping Marvellous, will also contain heart health messages and advice. Submissions should be 500-800 words long Send to christine.spencer@blackburn.gov.uk
