Residents in the St Aidens area of Mill Hill took part in a Your Call community clean-up to tackle dog fouling and litter.

Mill Hill ward councillor, Carol Walsh had received a number of calls on the issue and volunteers donated 12 hours of their time, collecting around 30 bags of rubbish. Helpers from the neighbourhood office, the police and environmental crime were there along with Monte the dog from Twin Valley Homes.

Nice idea, but you may need to at least spell St. Aidan's correctly. If you guys need any proof readers, I'm sure there are people out there in the Lancashire area who require work and it's not the first time this has happened.

Wondered where all the dog poo had gone. Thought the snow/rain had washed it away. Absolutely disgusting walking round the area trying to avoid it. No doubt it will be back when the irresponsible dog owner lets them out again.
