BLACKBURN College is creating a time capsule commemorating its 125 history, as part of its birthday celebrations.
The college is asking people to come forward with their memories, photos and memorabilia to create a picture of college life during the past 125 years.
The capsule will be buried underneath the new £7million Sir Bill Taylor Futures Centre, which is due to open in September. The centre is also organising a series of events to celebrate its birthday culminating in a two-week celebration of its history and success from April 25 to the main ceremony on May 9.
Principal Ian Clinton said: “The time capsule will be a great way to preserve people’s memories and moments at the college over the past 125 years as well as signal a new era for us.”
Anyone with information for the capsule can email marketing@blackburn.ac.uk by March 31.
