Annual march in Blackburn to celebrate birth of the Prophet

AN annual march celebrating the birth of The Prophet Mohammed will take place on Sunday February 3 at 12.15pm.
Muslims from across Blackburn will walk for an hour beginning and ending at Chester Street Mosque.
A number of prayers will be read in English and Urdu as worshippers pass through Higher Audley Street, Furthergate, Cherry Street, Temple Drive, St Clements Street, Audley Range, Lincoln Road, Queens Road and Queens Park Road.
Many community members and businesses will be providing drinks, food and sweets to the people in the procession.
