Bakery brings jobs boost to Blackburn

A NEW bakery shop is to open in Blackburn, creating 14 jobs. Poundbakery, which already has a shop in The Mall, will open a new shop in King William Street.

The shop specialises in pies, cakes and sausage rolls, with everything costing £1.

To celebrate, Poundbakery’s street team will be out and about with some giveaways. The bakery will be open Monday to Saturday, and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
