DEATH Mr Hill and police at the house
A MAN accused of murdering a friend in Blackburn has appeared at Preston Crown Court.
Michael Cocker, 26, of Seascale Close, Blackburn has been charged over the death of Thomas Joseph Hill.
In a preliminary hearing before Preston Crown Court, a trial date was set for April 29 next year. Before then a plea and case management hearing is due to take place on March 1.
An application for bail by defence barrister Mark Stuart was refused.
The defendant was remanded in custody by Judge Anthony Russell QC.
