Blackburn to Hellifield Santa train tickets sell out

ALL the tickets for the Santa Special train from Blackburn to Hellifield on Saturday December 8 have now been sold.
The final tickets were sold on Tuesday and the information was immediately placed on the Ribble Valley Rail website.
“Sorry Sold Out”, notices were placed over the adverts at the stations along the line and the many telephone enquirers were disappointed with the news.
Marjorie Birch, chairman of Ribble Valley Rail, said: ‘Unfortunately due to a misunderstanding the information was not available for the people who turned up at Blackburn station.
“I would like to sincerely apologise for the fact that there was no one there to answer your queries. We have been quite overwhelmed with the amount of interest that has been shown and if the day proves successful we may seek to repeat it next year.”
