Blackburn park set to be winter wonderland

ROE LEE Park in Blackburn will be transformed into a ‘Winter Wonderland’ on Sunday, December 9.

The recreational open space will have a Santa’s Grotto, ice skating rink and Christmas Market from open 11am to 3pm.

There will also be fairground rides, a Youth Zone showcase, choir, hot food stalls, model railways and lots more at the event.

It is organised by the Friends of Roe Lee Park, Blackburn with Darwen council, Lancashire Constabulary, the county fire and rescue service, Twin Valley Homes, Blackburn Youth Zone and Blackburn with Darwen Community and Voluntary Service.
