Blackburn mother’s plea over missing son
12:51pm Friday 9th November 2012 in Blackburn
APPEAL David Young
THE mother of a man who has been missing for almost three weeks has made an emotional appeal for information.
Jacqueline Marsden, 52, said she was ‘desperate’ to know that her son David Young was safe and appealed for him to contact his worried family.
The 28-year-old father of six-year-old twin boys, has not been seen since he was in Albion Street near to the canal bridge on October 17 around 10.30pm.
Police divers have searched the canal after witnesses said Mr Young was on the road, walking in a disorientated state.
Chief Insp Justin Srivastava said: “It has been several weeks now since anybody saw David and understandably his family and friends are extremely concerned for his welfare.
“It is really important that if anyone has seen David they come forward and contact us.”
Anyone with information can call police on 101.
