FASHION label Elvis Jesus has collaborated with Lancashire Cricket star Jimmy Anderson to create a limited edition t-shirt to celebrate his 10th year playing for England.

Jimmy, who was born in Burnley, has represented his country in more than 50 test matches and 100 one day internationals.

The pace bowler will act as brand ambassador for the `Elvis Jesus Vs James Anderson` concept and said he had been an avid fan of the brand for years.

In the past few months the label has worked closely with the cricketer to create a t-shirt design that is personal to Jimmy with a unique Elvis Jesus edge.

The `Jimmy` t-shirt design has been influenced by his history within cricket.

In the fine details it contains the Lancashire rose, and his cricket shirt number.

Each limited edition t-shirt is embellished with his signature and a unique quote from him.

Jimmy, a former pupil at St Mary’s and St Theodore’s RC High School, Burnley, played cricket at Burnley Cricket Club from a young age.

His childhood dream was to be a cricketer, and at the age of 17, after a growth spurt, Anderson was one of the fastest bowlers in the Lancashire League made his international debut at the age of just 20.

A donation from each ‘Jimmy’ t-shirt sold will go towards a national specialist music charity, Nordoff Robbins, to help them to continue to deliver their music therapy services across the UK to the most isolated and vulnerable people.

The official launch event takes place in-store at Elvis Jesus today in the Trafford Centre between 2pm and 3pm.

Fans will have the chance to have their t-shirt signed by Jimmy.
