Cow on M66 causes traffic delays

OFFICERS from the Highways Agency have been called to remove a cow from the M66.

Greater Manchester Police received several calls from motorists at 7.20am this morning after a cow was spotted grazing on grass on the hard shoulder of the motorway close to Junction 4.

The Highways Agency are currently on scene to remove the cow and help reduce the back log of traffic.
