AN award-winning East Lancashire chef is set to help ensure that a stunning £80,000 James Bond wedding has a ‘licence to thrill’.

The wedding will be complete with jet planes, flash cars, a helicopter, celebrity crooners and a Daniel Craig lookalike.

Abdul Hassan and his wife Layla – who have already had a traditional Muslim ceremony – will tie the knot 3,000ft above St Paul’s Cathedral on a 747 jumbo jet with 400 passenger guests.

Fighter jets will fly beside the plane, which was featured in the Bond movie Casino Royale.

The fine dinning will be catered by the talented chefs at the Usha restaurant in Burnley, led by award-winning chef Ibrahim Ali.

The foods will be prepared at the Burnley restaurant the day before and will be flown to London by helicopter for the final preparations.

Ibrahim will also travel by helicopter, and a team of chefs in London will help him put the finishing touches to the meals on November 6.

Yesterday Ibrahim met the wedding couple to talk about menus and pose for photos.
