Rush-hour crash causes tailbacks in the M65 at Whitebirk

MAJOR tailbacks caused rush-hour mayhem after a car crashed into the central reservation of the M65.
One lane was blocked after the collided with the barrier while travelling westbound near Junction 6 at Whitebirk, affecting traffic towards Preston.
The matrix signs were reduced to 50mph and the lane remained closed while a fuel spillage was cleared. It reopened at around 8.15am.
