CONCERN is growing for a missing man from Blackburn.

Andrew O’Niel, 42, has not been seen since he left his home in Fielding Crescent by car on Sunday at around 7:30pm.

His car was found yesterday, parked in Herschell Street but there was no sign of him.

Insp Des Barr from Blackburn Police said: “I would appeal to anyone who has seen Andrew over the past couple of days to come forward and contact the police.

“I would also appeal directly to Andrew and ask him to make contact with wither us or his family. Understandably they are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.”

Mr O’Neil is described as 5ft 11ins, with a stocky build and short dark hair. He was wearing a white polo shirt, dark jeans and army style boots.
