Sex offender from Blackburn breached order
7:00am Tuesday 16th October 2012 in News
POLICE checking on the whereabouts of a registered sex offender were told she had moved out of her old address three weeks earlier.
Blackburn Magistrates’ Court heard it was the second time Ann-Marie Ward had breached the sex offender order by failing to tell the police where she was living.
Ward, 56, of Carlinghurst Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with notification requirements.
She was sentenced to 10 weeks in prison suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £85 costs.
