Haslingden sisters to raise more money for cancer charity
11:29am Monday 15th October 2012 in News
TWO SISTERS from Haslingden are holding a day and night of Hallowe’en entertainment to raise money for the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.
Maria Teoli and Emma Gavan have already raised £45,000 for the charity, after becoming involved with fundraising when Emma’s husband, Matthew, lost his 10-month battle with skin cancer back in 2010.
The event, on Sunday, October 28, is split into a family-themed day and then an adults-only evening party, with tickets £2.50 for children and £5 for adults.
Maria, who owns Capelli Design, in Manchester Road, said: “We are delighted to be back staging another event and hopefully raising a lot more money for Rosemere.”
