Ragwort warning
2:50pm Wednesday 10th October 2012 in News
ANIMAL owners are being urged to be careful after a boom in the growth of ragwort.
The weed, which is a danger to animals, has enjoyed perfect growing conditions this summer.
If eaten by grazing horses, ponies, or cattle, it can have serious health implications and, in some cases, can be fatal. The National Farmer’s Union says the problem is significant this year.
