Chemist plan for Nelson shop

PLANS have been unveiled for a new internet pharmacy business at a former accident claims premises in Nelson.

Mr M A Chaudhry would be working with one other colleague on the venture at 99A Leeds Road, borough planners have been told.

Currently vacant, the building would be used between 8am and midnight – though only one of the partners would be present at any one time.

But Mr Chaudry has pledged, if required, that any deliveries or dispatches would only take place up until 8pm.

The pharmacist is planning to use couriers to dispatch the drugs, with most deliveries taking place mid-afternoon and only involving a car or small van.

No customers would be calling at the new venture, unlike the previous usage, say Earby-based planning agents Inspire.

If they have changed the use of a "former accident claims premises" does this mean that the crash for cash scams are finally coming to an end ?
