MORE than fifty former students from Nelson and Colne College Sixth Form have embarked on a range of prestigious Medicine or Law related degree programmes.
The students had undertaken the Pre-Professional Programmes for Medicine, Law, Teaching and Journalism.
As part of the Pre-Professional Programmes, students participate in a range of activities, including visits from former students now working in their dream careers, presentations from industry experts such as radiographers (Pre-Med) and Solicitors (Pre-Law), and specialist trips.
Rachel Cox, Student Services Manager at the College said, "It is fantastic that such a large number of our students have been successful in gaining places at university with the help of our pre-professional programmes.
