Festival of quilts at Blackburn store

A FESTIVAL of Quilts will be on display at Hobkirk’s, in Darwen Street, Blackburn, on Saturday, as part of an open day at the store.
Women who attend regular classes in-store are lending their quilting work for a display as the business celebrates the opening of a new fabric store.
A charity raffle, to raise funds for St Catherine’s Hospice, near Bamber Bridge, will also be held, in memory of one of the quilters who died recently.
The open day at the store runs from 10am to 3pm.
