A DARWEN firm’s £18m regeneration plans have been modified following public consultation, and will be unveiled to the public tomorrow.
Lucite International announced its ambitious plans, which include a new supermarket, in July. The revised proposals will now be shown to the public at the event, from 4pm to 6.30pm, at the firm’s Duckworth Street headquarters.
The main elements of the project remain the same, comprising the creation of a new research and development facility, a food store, and relocating Tyre Equipe.
However, changes to the plans include the preservation of parking bays in Duckworth Street, the relocation of an access point to the new Tyre Equipe building, and further landscaping.
