Man rescued from Pendle Hill

AN AIR ambulance crew was called to Pendle Hill this evening after a 45-year-old man collapsed with heart problems.

Members of Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue Trust were also at the scene to assist the man.

He was out walking with his partner at around 5pm when he complained of chest pain.

He was flown to Royal Blackburn Hospital where he was described as being in a stable condition.
