ONE of East Lancashire's busiest roads has been closed after a crash involving a motorcyclist and a lorry.
Police said the incident happened on the A59 at Sawley close to the abattoir.
A spokesman said: "The road has been closed in both directions to allow accident investigation. It is likely to remain closed for at least two hours. It involves a HGV and a motorcycle."
