Would-be Oswaldtwistle burglar on curfew

SIMON Lee Holden, 25, previously of Catlow Hall Street, Oswaldtwistle, was made subject to a 7pm to 6am electronically monitored curfew and ordered to pay £250 costs by Blackburn magistrates after being convicted in his absence of going equipped for theft with a glass hammer.

The court heard police alerted to a man acting suspiciously near Paddock Street, Oswaldtwistle, arrested Holden and found the hammer.
