Cryin’ out for male singers in Nelson

A SINGING group is appealing for male vocalists to join them.

Nelson’s Secret Singers group has been growing steadily since it formed in November 2010 but it they restarted after the summer break there were no basses.

The choir has moved from the Ace Centre to Christ Church on Carr Road where it rehearses in the café area.

The group sing pop, folk and world music, all acapella in what organisers call “a fun and supportive environment”.

The classes take place on Thursday evenings from 7.30 to 9.15pm and the first session is free.

If you can sing, please give it a go, I've heard them for years and its a joy to behold.
