Hoddlesden nursery's extension plan refused

STEPPING Stones Nursery in Hoddlesden Road, Hoddlesden, has been denied permission to extend.

Bosses wanted to build at the rear of the nursery to allow three additional children to be accommodated in a baby unit.

But Blackburn with Darwen Council threw out the plans on the grounds that the increased activity and intensity of use caused by the proposed development within a residential area would lead to a significant and regular loss of amenity for neighbouring residents.

Should call it a mosque would get planning permission then.
