Organist and trumpeter to close Padiham music season

AN internationally-renowned organist and an established trumpeter are set to bring up the curtain on a season of shows at Padiham Unitarian Church.
Dr Gordon Stewart, a senior organ tutor at the Royal Northern College of Music, will appear at the venue on September 22, from 7.30pm.
He will be joined by Tom Osborne, another Royal Northern stalwart and currently assistant principal trumpet with the Halle Orchestra.
Admission for the double-header costs £8 with proceeds split between the North West Air Ambulance, Children’s Heart Surgery Fund and the church.
