EAST Lancashire beauty queen Brittany Hargreaves is preparing for the finals of Miss Teen Great Britain later this month.

The Whitewell Bottom girl, 18, studies sports science at Burnley College and has ambitions to be a model or physiotherapist.

She will be enjoying near-home advantage at the national finals though, as they take place at The Globe in Blackpool.

The prizes include a crown and sash, £1,000 cash, £500 worth of dresses from The DressStudio, a modelling portfolio and introduction to one of the leading teen modelling and casting agencies, EuroTeens and EKA Model and Actor Management.

The winner also goes forward to Miss Teen Galaxy International, held near Miami, featuring contestants from all over the world.
