Police tackle vehicle crime in Clayton-le-Moors

CAR owners who leave their vehicles unlocked could be visited by police in Clayton-le-Moors.

Officers intend to reduce the number of auto crimes on roads between Clayton and Great Harwood by trying car door handles and then contacting the owners of insecure vehicles.

Police officers hope that by spreading the crime prevention messages car owners will take responsibility for their possessions.
